Lakeside town, smoking volcano, black sand shores

Crossing the border into Chile, we arrive in Pucon, a lively town by the lake. Above it rises Villarica, a volcano that smokes quietly, a reminder of the fire beneath. The streets hum with travelers, drawn by the promise of adventure. Down at the lake, the beach is made of black volcanic sand, soft and strange beneath our feet, the water shimmering against the dark shore. Instead of climbing the peak, we slip into natural warm waters nearby, steam rising into the cool air. Here, nature feels both soothing and untamed — Pucon, a gateway to the volcano’s power and its hidden springs.
