Brigitte Bardot

Brigitte Bardot, French (former) actress, fashion model, and singer, was born on September 28, 1934, in Paris. She rose to international fame in the 1950s and 1960s as a sex symbol and pin-up girl. Bardot was a prominent figure in the French New Wave cinema movement and was often referred to as the “French Marilyn Monroe.” Famous for her striking looks and her ability to convey a sense of sensuality and vulnerability. She is known for her iconic roles in films such as “Et Dieu Cree La Femme” (1956), “La Verite!” (1960).and “Le Mepris” (1963).

Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, model, and singer who became a major sex symbol and pop culture icon in the 1950s. She began her career as a model, and later became a film actress, starring in a number of successful films during the 1950s. Monroe died on August 4, 1962, at the age of 36, from an overdose of sleeping pills. Her death was ruled a “probable suicide.” Despite her tragic end, Monroe’s legacy as a Hollywood icon and sex symbol has endured, and she remains one of the most recognizable and beloved celebrities of all time.

 

Sofia Loren

Sophia Loren is an Italian film actress who rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s. She is known for her striking beauty and has been listed among the world’s all-time most attractive women. Loren’s beauty often overshadowed her enormous talents as an actress, but her earthy charisma is evident. Throughout her career, Loren has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award for her role in  “La ciociara” (1962).
