The Cherry Orchard: Blossoming (2008) is a remake/reworking of “The Cherry Orchard” (1990). While exploring the old schoolhouse within the grounds of her new school, Momo stumbles upon a room full of props and stage instructions for the Russian play The Cherry Orchard. The school’s tradition of presenting an annual performance of the play has long been banned (due to an incident in the past). Momo decides to form a drama group in secret and stage a new production. History is repeating itself, and Momo finds herself at a crossroads.
