Simple Dreams is the eighth studio album by American singer Linda Ronstadt, released in 1977. It is one of the most successful albums of her career, spending five consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard album chart and selling over 3.5 million copies in the United States alone, a record for a female artist at the time. The album blends country rock, soft rock, and traditional pop, featuring covers of songs by The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Warren Zevon, and others.
