The movie follows Byron Levin (Ray Sharkey), who is sent by his billionaire boss, Frederick Stockheinz (Klaus Kinski), to persuade a dictator to stop nationalizing Frederick’s silver mines. Byron’s mission becomes complicated when he begins an affair with Catherine Stockheinz (Ornella Muti), Frederick’s wife.
