Los Olvidados (The Young and the Damned) is a 1950 Mexican drama film directed by Luis Buñuel. The film follows a group of troubled street kids, led by the ruthless and cunning El Jaibo (Roberto Cobo), who engage in a life of petty crime and violence. Among them is Pedro (Alfonso Mejía), a young and impressionable boy who becomes increasingly drawn into El Jaibo’s world. As Pedro’s moral compass begins to erode, he becomes embroiled in a cycle of crime and despair.
