ONE NIGHT… A TRAIN (“Un soir, un train”) is the second feature of Belgian surrealist filmmaker André Delvaux, starring Yves Montand and Anouk Aimée. It was adapted by Delvaux from a novella by Johan Daisne. The 1968 film tells the story of Mathias (Montand), a Belgian linguist living with a French theatre producer, Anne (Anouk Aimée). After a quarrel about moral questions, the couple take a train to attend a congress. While Mathias is sleeping, Anne disappears. T
