"I love modeling, I think of it as an art, I love everything that has to do with art, you can be really creative at any time, either you're doing a photoshoot or a runwayodeling", says Savannah Perez, who is of Mexican origin.
Why do you like to be a model?
Being a model has made me feel responsible for all the girls that dream of being a model because I need to give a good example for them. I love modeling, I think of it as an art, I love everything that has to do with art, you can be really creative at any time, either your doing a photoshoot or a runway.
What would you like to reach as a model?
I would want to be a great role model for all the girls out there that want to be a model. I want to be recognize for my hard work and heritage.
Are you ambitious?
Yes, I really try hard to acomplish my goals and it feels great when you acomplish them, but my goals never end.
What is your relation with the camera?
It depends on which camera, there is Kodak, Cannon, Sony, jajajajajaja I'm just kiding, well my relationship with the camera is so intense, I try not to think to much, I just let myself free. Of course I do get a little nervous at first, but with a couple of shoots I am over the nerves.
Who is your inspiration?
My inspiration would have to be Jorge Ramos (Newscaster of Univision), I know he is not a male model but he is a great role model for any immigrant in the U.S. He makes me feel so praud of my heritage, I love the way he thinks and the way he expresses himself in his great books that he has written. One day I would want to be a role model just like him.
If you look in the mirror in the morning what do you think?
I look myself in mirror and I think, thank you God for another day of a great life.
