How would you describe

Your ideal man?
Smart, respectful and sure of himself.Must have a scene of humor because I love to joke around.
Una chica latina?
A woman that is not only confident. But smart and proud of her roots and all the history that comes with being latin.
A perfect day?
Waking up to beautiful weather on an island. And enjoying your day with the people you love the most.

Liza's Favorites:

Food: Chicharron de pollo with rice and beans. Bistec encebollado. Oh and can't forget the flan lol Love it!!
Books: The Alchemist and Women are from Venus and Men are from Hell
Music: Growing up I listened to a combination of English and Spanish music. My father was a huge influence on me he listened to Rhythm and Blues like the Four Tops and many other R&B artists. And, of course my  mom would play Salsa and Merengue on holidays and at birthday parties. As a kid I would put on dance numbers at home for the family.
Movies: Horror and Comedy.
Place in the world: Turks and Caicos

..... I began to attend casting calls and auditioning on a regular basis. In 2003, I was selected to join a Latin all girl group called ‘Una Sangre’ (One Blood). Later that summer I recorded a song called ‘Drop It’ with Kurtis Blow and another female artist. Neither projects were a success but I developed skills and experience which have helped me gain understanding of the business....

And now you are modeling.... Why ?
It's something that I had a passion for ever since I was a little girl. I think every girl and woman likes to feel pretty. I love being in front of the camera.

What are your goals?
I have pretty much done a lot of what I wanted to do as far as modeling goes. I have done about 5 magazines. Right now I'm just trying to do more magazines. I have been modeling for over 6 years so I have done a lot. And I'm grateful for that. Some people do this for years and never even make it in one magazine.

Are you ambitious?
Very much so. When I get my mind set on doing something. I get it done.

How is your relation with the camera?
I love being in front of the camera. The camera is my friend lol and I have a lot of fun with it. I feel like a different person when I'm in front of the camera.

Who and what is your inspiration?
All the latinos that came before me and made a name for themselves in the industry. They put us on the map and showed us that no matter where you come from you can make it as well.

Apart from your career what do you consider important in life?
My family and friends, without them I'm nothing.

Tell us something about your roots
Well my mom was born on the beautiful island of Dominican Republic. My dad was born in New York but comes from  Puerto Rico. I'm Dominican and Puerto Rican.

If you look in the mirror in the morning what do you think?
I think about how blessed I am to be alive. So thankful that I have all the things that I have. Then after I get my make up on I think wow I'm a sexy beast lol.
